The Silver Bullet Security Podcast

Got an email last night from Gary McGraw letting me know that he has started a new podcast called the "The Silver Bullet Security Podcast". I listened to his first episode this morning, and its pretty good. He interviews Avi Rubin, professor of computer science and technical director of the information security institute at Johns Hopkins University.

You should go give it a try. It's pretty good.

My only comment to you Gary. Get your show up on iTunes. I sync every morning to my security podcasts, and would love to add you to the iTunes Podcast feed.

"Get your show up on iTunes."

Agreed 100%!

BTW, what other security-related podcasts are worth the time, effort, and bandwidth? I am a regular listener of Leo Laporte and Steve Gibson's "Security Now!". What else should be on my _must subscribe_ list?

Cheers,

Dana, you can subscribe to any podcast by dragging its URL into your podcast playlist, or by typing the URL into "Subscribe to Podcast" under the Advanced menu.

Hey Ken,

I opened up iTunes and did a search for "security", and subscribed to them all. Then as I went through them while on a cross country flight, I weeded out those "monotone" type casts that were boring to me.

Some of the ones I listen to regularly:

* Citadel Security Software's 2Minute Warning

* CSO Online Podcast

* ITC: Security

* Mighty Seek

* Martin McKeay's Network Security Podcast

* Security Matters

* Security Now!

* Speaking of Security (RSA podcast)

* Symantec Security Response Podcast

* Symantec Small Business Security Podcast

* The Security Catalyst

Problem is, sometimes some of these feeds get boring. Good thing is, its easy to fast forward ;)

YMMV of course. Do the "security" search. See what fits your needs.
