In alphabetical order, here are the top threats for 2004: Adware-180 Adware-Gator Exploit-ByteVerify Exploit-MhtRedir JS/Noclose W32/Bagle W32/Mydoom W32/Netsky W32/Sasser W32/Sdbot (family including sdbot, gaobot, polybot, spybot) Interesting list. It is curious in how many are malicious code segments that propagate through known vulnerabilities that could have been patched. Hmmmm... that echoes my previous post doesn't it?
