March 21, 2004Windows XP Service Pack 2 Preview available for downloadMicrosoft has released a technical preview of Windows XP Service Pack 2 (XPSP2) that you can now download from the Internet. I have been running a version earlier than RC1 and it has been pretty stable, but that has been in an isolated environment which is pretty clean. I have not yet moved this to any of my production systems, and don't intent to just yet. If you are curious about looking at XPSP2RC1 (holy acronym batman) this preview will aid you in planning and testing for the deployment of Windows XP SP2 later this year. Feel free to download it now and give it a try in VMWare, VirtualPC or an isolated machine. Posted by SilverStr at March 21, 2004 11:54 PM | TrackBack |
