Architectural Innovations for Enterprise Forensics

While browsing some of David's writings I came across a paper he presented at the Australian Computer Network and Information Forensics Conference. Entitled Architectural Innovations for Enterprise Forensics, David takes the opportunity to discuss (at a high level) Trusted Computing initiatives such as the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) specifications, Microsoft's Next Generation Secure Computing Base (NGSCB) and Trusted Multi-Net.

These Trusted Computing initiatives are directed towards improvements in the security of user data, attestation of a trust level of a user and/or hardware device, and authentication of a user and/or hardware device, and David provides an introduction in this short paper.

If you know very little about Trusted Computing and would like to learn about it, this paper will put you on the right track. Happy reading!
