Identity Based Encryption
I was reading an interesting article on identy based encryption this morning when I stumbled across a good paper on "certificateless" public key encryption. John Callas, CTO over at PGP has shared his thoughts on IBE as a response in an article he published in PGP's CTO Corner.
Not sure what to make of IBE. Mathematically it sounds quite interesting, but since I am a computer security software architect, and not a cryptographer, I really don't have the expertise to poke holes in it.
Anyways, interesting research. Happy reading!
